Klondike Gold Rush

History podcast

A new podcast bringing you the epic stories of the Klondike Gold Rush in an easy-to-listen narrative over about 25 episodes. That's about as much time as it takes to travel the Trail of 1898 from Dyea to Dawson, in your podcast equipped car not by mule, boat or dogsled of course!

This podcast is a labour of love by two Yukoners with a passion for local history. Pascale Halliday and Keith Halliday do most of the narrating, with guest appearances by other Yukoners and Alaskans.

"I wanted the gold, and I sought it; I scrabbled and mucked like a slave. Was it famine or scurvy - I fought it. I hurled my youth into a grave."

The Spell of the Yukon, Robert Service
